Let me tell you about my unforgettable trip to Mykonos. This glamorous Greek island has something for everyone. It suits both luxury travellers and budget adventurers.

I stayed at the stunning Saint John Hotel Villas & Spa. It had the most amazing sea views. I ate at world-class restaurants, partied until sunrise, and shopped for luxury goods. Where to Stay in Mykonos

When it comes to accommodation, Mykonos offers a wide range of options for all budgets:

1. Luxury Travellers:

I stayed at Saint John Hotel Villas & Spa, and it was pure bliss. My room had a private jacuzzi and panoramic views of the Aegean Sea. I even treated myself to a full body massage on my last day, and it was the best decision. If you’re looking to splurge on comfort, I would recommend this hotel. You can book your stay on Trip.com or Expedia.

2. Affordable Options:

If you’re on a budget, Mykonos has charming Airbnbs and boutique hotels in the Old Town or near quieter beaches. These are perfect for solo travellers or adventurers.

3. Pro tip:

For the best deals, book early (off-season months like May or September are ideal).

What to Do in Mykonos: Top Experiences

1. Explore Mykonos Old Town.

Wander the charming whitewashed streets. Get lost among the blue-domed churches. Visit the famous windmills of Kato Mili. (I couldn’t take any photos because there were too many people. If you want to see the windmill and take photos, go as early as possible to avoid the crowds.) Don’t forget to stop at local boutique shops for unique souvenirs.

2. Beach Clubs and Luxury Dining

Scorpios: A must for dining, partying, and soaking up the Mykonian vibe. Book a table for sunset, and you’ll see why it’s iconic.

Zuma Mykonos: This chic Japanese restaurant blends incredible flavours with jaw-dropping views.

• Branco Mykonos: Perfect for lunch with your toes in the sand.

• Nammos: If you love luxury shopping and beachside lounging, this is your paradise. The boutique selection is fabulous!

3. Buddha Bar at Santa Marina

For a romantic evening or a foodie experience, try Buddha Bar. It has amazing seafood and a vibrant atmosphere.

4. Adventure at Sea

Charter a yacht or hop on a ferry to explore nearby islands like Delos. We couldn’t charter one because we ran out of time and failed to create an effective plan.  For adventure seekers, snorkelling and water sports are also fantastic here.

Best Time to Visit Mykonos

The best time to visit Mykonos is from May to early October.

Peak Season (June-August): Busy beaches, nightlife, and perfect weather. Expect higher prices.

Shoulder Season (May & September): Warm weather, fewer crowds, and better deals. (I went in September.)

• Budget Tip: Visit in October. The weather is nice then, and prices drop.

What to Pack & Wear in Mykonos

Mykonos fashion is all about effortless chic. Here’s what you will need:

• Daywear: Breezy dresses, linen shirts, swimsuits, and sandals.

• Evening: Glamorous maxi dresses or sleek outfits for dining and nightlife.

• Essentials: A good pair of walking shoes, sunscreen, and a summer hat for exploring the Old Town. Ooh, don’t forget sunglasses!
