The epitome of lush is what I call this exclusive oasis nestled between the mountains and ocean in Stanford. The lodge has 5 luxury suites each equipped with a fire stove, bathtub, indoor and outdoor shower.
Upon arrival we were welcomed with a delicious Amarula hot chocolate, the best iv ever had, the porter helped us with our bags while the manager gave us a tour of our suite. Our room had a beautiful view of the lagoon, a fully packed mini fridge with water and soft drinks, we also had a bottle of rakawine and some sherry.
The food was absolutely delicious, and the waiter was always present and attentive to make sure everything was ok, what I loved even more was that the chef also came and asked us if we enjoyed our meal, I don’t think iv been to a restaurant where the chef came personally to check on us, and this for me was the cherry on top:)
ACTIVITIES TO DO
One thing about Mosaic lodge is that they have a lot of exciting activities for the entire family, since the weather was cold when we went, I opted for an adventurous 1 hour quad biking experience, which was a lot of fun.
For those who would like to experience more activities, they offer:
-Whale watching
-Boat cruises
-Walks (including bird watching)
-Kayaking
-Beach excursions
-Shark cage diving ( for the brave hearted )
-Spa treatments ( I had one of the best 90 mins facials ever, that included arms, facial and neck massage)
They also have a beautiful out door heated pool over looking the lagoon so whether the weather is hot and sunny or moody one can still enjoy a good swim.
