Riviera Marriott Monaco Review: Luxury Stay Near Monte Carlo

Last weekend, I stayed at the Riviera Marriott Hotel La Porte de Monaco while attending the Monaco E-Prix, and honestly, the experience exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for a luxury stay near Monte Carlo without paying the ultra-premium Monaco hotel prices, this Riviera Marriott Monaco Review will help you decide if it’s worth booking.

The location alone makes this hotel unforgettable. Sitting right beside the marina filled with massive luxury yachts, the entire experience feels like stepping into the glamorous lifestyle of the rich and famous. Waking up to views of sleek yachts and the Mediterranean atmosphere instantly gave the trip that luxury Monaco feeling.

A Luxury Marina Atmosphere Without the Monaco Price Tag

One of the things I loved most about this hotel was the setting. The Riviera Marriott Hotel La Porte de Monaco is located right beside the marina at Cap d’Ail, just minutes away from Monte Carlo.

The yacht views immediately create that luxurious Monaco atmosphere people dream about. Whether you’re walking outside in the morning or relaxing from your balcony, there’s always something beautiful to look at, from luxury yachts to the calm waterfront scenery.

If you enjoy glamorous destinations and luxury travel experiences, this hotel definitely delivers that aesthetic.

This Riviera Marriott Monaco Review honestly wouldn’t be complete without mentioning how premium the location feels.

The Staff Made My Stay Memorable

Beyond the beautiful views, what truly stood out during my stay was the kindness of the staff.

The weather during the weekend was chilly, and I realized the air conditioning system only blew cold air. I asked whether they could adjust it, but unfortunately they couldn’t change the temperature system.

However, instead of simply apologizing and leaving it there, they placed a heater inside the room before we returned later that evening.

That small act of kindness genuinely meant a lot to me.

Luxury hotels can have beautiful rooms and stunning locations, but thoughtful service is what people truly remember. Honestly, this is one of the main reasons I would happily stay here again and confidently recommend it to my clients.

Pool, Gym & Facilities

The hotel also has a beautiful outdoor pool area that looked extremely inviting, even though the weather during my trip was too cold to actually swim.

And now for the funny story…

I thought I packed my bikini top for Monaco… only to discover I packed bikini bottoms instead 🫠🤣

So even if the weather had been warm enough, swimming would not have happened anyway.

Moral of the story: always double-check your suitcase before leaving home.

The hotel also has a gym situated next to the pool area. Although I didn’t have enough time to use it during my stay, it looked modern, clean, and convenient for travelers wanting to keep up with workouts while visiting Monaco.

Dining & Room Service Experience

Another thing I appreciated about the hotel is its location near several restaurants and dining spots. If you don’t feel like dining at the hotel every evening, there are plenty of nearby options within walking distance.

One morning, I honestly didn’t feel like getting dressed and heading downstairs for breakfast, so I ordered room service instead.

The food arrived right on time, was fresh, and tasted great, exactly what you want during a relaxing luxury stay.

This Riviera Marriott Monaco Review comes down to three things:

  • Incredible yacht marina views
